It is official. We’re knee deep in ‘silly season’. The days are short, the weather is cold & the shops are packed. Seasonal retail junkies grabing any scrap of spare time to buy gifts for those whom mean the most. Star Wars and Christmas go hand-in-hand, they’ve been synonymous from the ‘empty box’ campaign in 1977, to the rush for BB-8 in 2015.  Lets not lie, one of your nearest and dearest is an avid Star Wars Fans. Well you’re in luck, because pending the release of Rogue One, Star Wars has once again flooded the rails of Ireland’s retail sector.

Just as we saw with The Force Awakens, it is not just the comic shops stocking Star Wars merchandise. In fact, most of the city’s high street shops have option on genuine licensed star wars swag. Team Blabba together with the help of our loyal followers have put together a list of last minute buys for the Star Wars fan in your life. There are even a few absolute bargain buys amongst the madness. Here are some of our favourite spots.

Dublin’s oldest comic book shop is a must visit destination for all your nerdy needs. The prices are always competitive, but if you look hard enough you are bound to find great deals. We found some awesome Funko Pops, reduced to €5.99, including the Celebration Europe Exclusive 4-LOM.
